Forget the way you used to talk
Forget the times when he was mad
Remember his happy and you are sad.
Forget the times you called him on the telephone
Forget the times you were alone
Forget the times your dreams come true
Remember there's someone new.
Forget his gentle teasing way
Forget he called you everyday
Forget the things you were pleased to do
Forget the way he spoke your name
Remember now things aren't the same.
Forget the way he hold your hands
Forget those things if you can,
Forget he told you he love you too
Remember now it's no longer you.
Forget the times that went so fast
Forget those dreams that can't come true
Forget him because he has forgotten you
